In 2016, as a result of a dream of the young José Cruz, The Cigar Yard was born in Edgewater NJ, after some time trying to start a business in the United States and inspired by the work he was doing in the Dominican Republic, José Cruz decides to open Cigar lounge to which I would give the name THE CIGAR YARD.

José began his craftwork of the cigar in a very well-known company in his native country called V de la Victoria in 1994, then motivated by colleagues and with an accumulated experience he became part of Tabacalera A. Fuente where he spent a large part of his time as one of the best Cigar Rollers, so much so that he became part of a space called Hall of Fame where the highest quality workers were found.

At the end of 2017, he decided to move to Pennsylvania full of enthusiasm because there he should have more space to be able to provide the public with a greater service within his business. In coordination with his Brother Ricardo Cruz, he opened his own cigar factory in the Dominican Republic to supply his store and make some private labels.

On March 14, 2018, it opened in Allentown PA, since then it has been fully dedicated to providing greater service to its customers by obtaining a greater variety of cigars and in a greater space.

Over time it has become one of the most visited places by all fans who like to enjoy a good cigar and a quality atmosphere.
